Summer Healthcare Exploration Program
The Summer Healthcare Exploration Program offers high school students the opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to a variety of healthcare careers at Indiana University South Bend. Through interactive learning activities, students explore different health professions and learn what education and training are required to pursue careers in the healthcare field.
Participants are introduced to careers such as nursing, radiography, medical laboratory science, health sciences, dental hygiene, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The program also highlights how healthcare professionals collaborate across disciplines to help patients recover and improve their quality of life.
